R-Biopharm produceert een verscheidenheid aan blot-formats wat betrouwbare diagnostiek van allergie\u00ebn of infectieziekten mogelijk maakt door detectie van specifieke antilichamen in het bloed van pati\u00ebnten.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Immunoblots zijn enzym-immunoassays op een nitrocellulosemembraan (de immunoblot). Gezuiverde moleculen, bijvoorbeeld pathogene antigenen of individuele allergenen, worden in afzonderlijke lijnen ge\u00efmmobiliseerd, afhankelijk van het aangeboden product. Als in het monster specifieke antilichamen voor de ge\u00efmmobiliseerde doelen aanwezig zijn, binden ze aan de moleculen op de membraan. Ze worden vervolgens gedetecteerd met behulp van het biotine-streptavidine-interactieprincipe. Bijgevolg geven zichtbare kleurbanden een positief resultaat aan.<\/p>\n

In het geval van serologiediagnostiek moet de immunoblot worden gebruikt ter bevestiging van positieve resultaten of ter verduidelijking van aspecifieke bevindingen van andere serologische methoden.<\/p>\n
